Rosenberger Group: “Cost-Effectiveness Ratio Must Be Just Right”

New Structure – Shorter Training Times – Lower Prices

16 Oct. 10.201
The new MTM training structure comes into force on 1 January 2019 and is based on a blended learning concept – i.e. a combination of e-learning facilities and courses that people need to attend. The major innovation is the introduction of the MTM-1 Base training course, which is the global standard access tool for participating in training in an MTM process building block (MTM-1, MTM-UAS, MTM-MEK, MTM-2, MTM-SD, MTM-HWD®). Candidates can complete MTM-1 Base by attending a course (5 days) or – what is new – by using an e-learning course.  The e-learning course also involves working on the individual learning modules for about 5 days. MTM-1 Base concludes with an intermediate examination; participants obtain a certificate. Completing MTM-1 Base is the only way to gain access to further training courses, but not to use MTM-1 in practice. The examination is taken on the final day of any course that people attend. The examination follows immediately after each chapter on the e-learning course.

BSH, Kiekert and Schaeffler Test the MTM-HWD® Process Building Block System

The partners in the Human Work Design (HWD®) development project – Audi, Daimler, Miele and VW – are currently in the process of validating the new MTM-HWD® process building block system and gaining experience in its use in corporate practice. Three new users – Kiekert, BSH and Schaeffler – attended the 50th working group meeting at Erfurt in September. The gathering focused on assessing the degree of maturity of the process building block system, new features for the analysis procedure and gaining new users.

Change Manager Advises: Invest in Yourself!

“Corporations will only change if the people within them change. That’s why the way that people handle change is the most important component for the future,” says Ilja Grzeskowitz. The final speaker at the German MTM Conference in Stuttgart on 25 October 2018 knows what he is talking about. The former top manager managed ten business locations for Karstadt, Hertie, Wertheim and IKEA in all and now advises corporations about recognizing and using the opportunities presented by change in uncertain times too. Digital change? Digital chance! is the motto of the 2018 German MTM Conference – and it is Ilja Grzeskowitz’s guiding principle.

From 2019: Shorter Training Periods – Lower Prices

Deutsche MTM-Vereinigung e. V. is playing a leading role in developing and establishing consistent MTM training standards that apply around the world. The requirements of member corporations and customers based on digitalization, globalization and the process of demographic change for MTM training in the future form the background to this. The new training structure forms part of the training and examination regulations that come into force on 1 January 2019.
