MTM – Work design productive and safe

The more you know, the more efficiently you work: The TiCon training opportunities from the MTM Software Center

Whether it involves using, administering or configuring the TiCon application – our training courses enable you to use the MTM TiCon software efficiently with Windows and in SAP. Regardless of whether you wish to get to know the software as a beginner or are looking for tips and tricks as an old hand, our training courses are tailor-made to meet your needs.

In-house training courses can be held at your corporation premises and normally last one day for each topic / TiCon module. Our trainer comes to you and teaches up to 10 participants, although a software training room with one PC per participant should be made available. Before each course, we coordinate the topics that you require with you in detail.

Training courses at the MTM Software Center in Dresden are possible for no more than six participants. The participation fees include the training course documents, drinks and snacks during the breaks and a certification of attendance.

The MTM Software Center issues a certification of attendance for each TiCon course attended by participants. If you take part in at least 16 hours of TiCon training – e.g. one day’s training in TiCon Base and TiCon Takt – you will be credited with two performance points for your final qualifications as an MTM engineer, if you request this – our software training courses are recognized here as an optional training module.

We also offer remote training courses in addition to or as an alternative to courses that you attend. This normally involves using the “Team Viewer” software (for details, see or a common screen sharing tool used by your corporation. The participant’s PC should have access to the Internet and ideally have two monitors. We recommend that the participant follows the trainer’s actions on one monitor and completes exercises on the second. “Team Viewer” also offers an opportunity for the trainer to provide support on the participant’s PC.

TiCon training courses require a knowledge of MTM, practical experience in using the MTM method and a basic knowledge of PCs (e.g. MS Office). Those participating in a course on one of the TiCon additional modules should already have a knowledge of TiCon Base and some practical experience in using TiCon Base.
